WITH NEUROFEEDBACK, You can heal your brain and we can help!

The truth is, many of us are dealing with debilitating issues that take the joy out of life. And instead of treating the problem, most of us are masking the symptoms with medication.

Sure, medication can help, but it’s only a temporary solution that could come with unwanted side effects or wane in effectiveness.

That’s where neurofeedback comes in. This game-changing technology gets to the root of the problem so you can heal and take your life back with a long-lasting, safe, effective solution.

-Frank Duffy, MD. Associate Editor for Neurology, Director of Harvard Medical School Neurophysiology Lab, speaking about Neurofeedback.

“In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy it would be universally accepted and widely used.”

How it works

Neurofeedback is like exercise for the brain that directly trains the brain in real time, helping it to function more efficiently. By strengthening and balancing brainwave activity, one can improve cognitive and emotional function, memory, sleep health and more.

The goal is to address brain dysregulation. Think of your brain as a musical quartet: When all musicians are in sync, the sound is harmonious. But if one musician is out of tune, the overall sound is affected. Brainwaves operate in much the same way, working together to keep your mind and body in sync, regulated, and running smoothly.

If any of your brainwaves are not in sync or dysregulated, it can impact your entire system negatively, increasing likelihood of developing conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, migraines, and more. Long term studies show that results, after completing a Neurofeedback series, can last decades, if not a lifetime.

What to expect in a session

During a session, patients are connected to a computer using sensors. The sensors only monitor brainwaves. These sensors are noninvasive, and no electrical current is put into the brain.

Sessions can last 30- 40 minutes. During the session, your brainwaves are monitored while doing some activity such as watching a video, listening to an audiobook, or playing a brain training exercise. When the computer detects irregular brainwaves, it will fade the video and sound. This will cause the patient to refocus their attention back on the movie or music until it returns to normal. This can happen several times during a single session. Eventually after multiple sessions, the brain starts to learn to stay in the healthy focus ranges on it’s own; as that happens the patient will see a reduction in their symptoms.

Neurofedback works to correct irregular brainwaves and modifies timing patterns in the brain. The best part, results are often long term.

Benefits of Neurofeedback

  • Improve autism symptoms by speeding up Beta brainwaves

  • Increase attention and focus for individuals with learning disorders

  • Improve depression symptoms by speeding up Alpha brainwaves

  • Reduce anxiety and stress by slowing down Beta brainwaves

  • Improve sleep disorders by slowing Delta brainwaves

  • Improve memory

  • Regulate the brainwaves responsible for addiction, which can reduce cravings
